Raj Venkatesan is Trinity Alps Capital’s Chief Investment Office and founder. At Trinity Alps Capital Raj manages the firm’s Global Equity Focused strategy.

Prior to founding Trinity Alps Capital, he was a Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Standard Pacific Capital for the Global Long/Short Equity Fund, Japan Equity Fund, and the Pan-Asia Long/Short Equity Fund.  As a Managing Partner at Standard Pacific Capital, Raj managed over $3 billion of assets in long/short, long-only, leveraged, SMA and 40 Act funds across its global strategies.

Raj joined Standard Pacific Capital in 1997 after he graduated from Harvard Business School (1995-1997).  Before attending business school, Raj worked at JP Morgan in Asia and the United States (1992-1995).  Raj graduated from Williams College with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy and a minor in Asian Studies.
